trillion, an enormous market for Oregon businesses. CIIE, hosted by Ministry of Commerce of
P.R.C. and City of Shanghai and supported by WTO and UNIDO, is estimated to attract
about 2000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and regions, as well as 150,000 professional
buyers from both China and abroad.

We will travel to Shanghai to attend the China International Import Expo on November 5th.
Counselor Yang has explained the importance of Oregon’s participation in the Expo, which is the
result of a major decision by China’s leadership to promote further positive relations with
countries throughout the world. China is making import of goods one of its top priorities along
with opening up its markets through the Belt and Road Initiative.
We plan to set up an “Oregon’s Very Best” booth in the American Pavilion in Shanghai.
This participation will most certainly benefit businesses in our state as we join over 2,000

Oregon China Sister State Relations Council (OCSSRC) is the organization the
Chinese Consulate if referring Oregon businesses to for assistance and additional
information on signing up for the China International Import Expo.
OREGON BUSINESSES HAVE TWO OPTIONS TO SIGN UP FOR THE CIIE:
Apply online on the CIIE website at Shanghai Expo
Click on “Exhibitors” and on the drop down menu, click on “Registration.” Fill out the
registration and in the section “Company Introduction” include a line that says, “CIIE Exhibition
Invitation Service Provider is Oregon China Sister State Relations Council.”
NB: OCSSRC is listed under the “Exhibition Invitation Service Provider” list on the drop
down list under “Registration” and under the country – “USA.”
Go to the CIIE website at Shanghai Expo . Click on
“Exhibitors” and on the drop down menu, click on “Registration.” Download the registration
form and fill it out.

OCSSRC by donating $500 via our website at www.ocssrc.org additionally to OCSSRC to help
provide necessary funds for OCSSRC’s all-volunteer efforts to continue you will benefit from

dues of $395.00. This makes you eligible to display your products for $150.00, which
you can also pay though the website. (NB: OCSSRC members who have already paid
their dues in 2018 can send in $150.00 via www.ocssrc.org to display your products.)
